The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 10 successfully conducted the Handog ng Pangulo Caravan in Barangay Santa Felomina, Sitio Gamut, Quezon, Bukidnon on September 13, 2025, as part of the nationwide birthday celebration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

The event showcased various services aimed at supporting vulnerable families in the community. These included the distribution of Family Food Packs (FFPs), the deployment of the Mobile Kitchen which served hot and nutritious meals, free medical check-ups, and free haircuts provided by the Philippine Army.

The activity was made possible through the collaboration of the LGU of Quezon, the MSWDO, Barangay Officials of Santa Felomina Sitio Gamut, community leaders, the Philippine Army, and DSWD staff.

The Handog ng Pangulo Caravan forms part of the Department’s continuing efforts to strengthen disaster response, promote food security, and deliver essential social services to geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

By bringing these services closer to the community, DSWD 10 reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the welfare and well-being of families, especially those in vulnerable situations.
