10 teenagers who were displaced due to the Marawi Siege will be finally reunited with their families in Zamboanga Peninsula. They were seeking refuge at the National School of Fisheries Evacuation Center in Iligan City where the DSWD Field Office X was able to help and facilitate their reunification with their families.

The teens, who were carnival workers, were preparing the rides and games in Marawi City when the clash occurred.

They are expected to arrive in their homes late Thursday night, June 8, 2017.

The DSWD Field Office 10 Disaster Operation Center in Iligan City continuously monitors the situation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) coming from Marawi City.

The status of IDPs has increased to 19,381 families or 90,667 persons of which 1,837 families or 8,592 persons are inside evacuation centers while 17,544 families or 82,075 persons are home-based IDPs.

Lanao del Norte currently hosts 33 evacuation centers with Iligan City continuously hosting the most number, with 744 families or 3,534 persons in its five evacuation centers, followed by the municipality of Baloi hosting 692 families or 3,209 persons in seven evacuations centers, Pantao Ragat with 295 families or 1,405 in 20 evacuation and Pantar with 104 families or 432 persons in one evacuation centers.

The previously reported evacuation center in Tubod which hosted 19 families was declared closed by the LGU since the IDPs transferred to the municipality of Matungao.

Furthermore, Cagayan de Oro City still holds evacuation center in Brgy. Indahag hosting two families composed of 12 persons.

The Home-based IDPs have increased to 17,544 families of which Iligan City has 6,672 families, Baloi with 3,506 families, Bacolod with 243 families, SND with 485 families, Tangcal with 105 families, Matungao with 850 families, Pantar with 1,268 families, Magsaysay with 56 families, Maigo with 94 families, Tubod with 102 families, Sapad with 160 families, Kolambugan with 234 families, Kapatagan with 36 families, Linamon with 125 families, Tagoloan with 253 families, Lala with 25 families, Salvador with 38 families, Poona Piagapo with 290 families, Munai with 229 families, Pantao Ragat 854 families, Baroy with 3 families, and Kauswagan with 301 families.

The validated home-based IDPs in Cagayan de Oro have increased to 997 families, from its previous 896 families. There are currently 8 families in Kinoguitan, 23 families in Alubijid, 485 families in Opol, and 35 families in Laguindingan. Manticao, Misamis Oriental has 6 home-based IDPs who are all intern students from Marawi City with no family members with them. And lastly, Bukidnon has recently reported 43 displaced families in the municipality of Kalilangan and about 24 families went to the DSWD provincial office in Bukidnon to register as IDPs from Marawi City.
The Field Office 10 has already provided a total cost of assistance amounting to Php 17,591,298.00 of which Php 4,139,469.00 worth of Non-food items and family food packs worth Php 13,451,829.00. While Local Government Units of Iligan City and Lanao del Norte has extended a total assistance worth Php 1,852,442.90. Some Non-government agencies have also extended Php 15,000.00.

The office is continuously facilitating assistance for IDPs who wish to go back to their respective provinces.

The status of IDPs has increased to 19,180 families or 89,616 persons of which 1,856 families or 8,686 persons are inside evacuation centers while 17,324 families or 80,930 persons are home-based IDPs.

Lanao del Norte currently hosts 34 evacuation centers with Iligan City continuously hosting the most number, with 744 families or 3,534 persons in its five evacuation centers, followed by the municipality of Baloi hosting 692 families or 3,209 persons in seven evacuations centers, Pantao Ragat with 295 families or 1,405 in 20 evacuation centers, Tubod with 19 families and Pantar with 104 families or 432 persons in one evacuation center.

The validated home-based IDPs in Cagayan de Oro have decreased to 893 families, three notches from its previous 896 families. There are currently 8 families in Kinoguitan, 23 families in Alubijid, 485 families in Opol, and 35 families in Laguindingan. Manticao, Misamis Oriental has 6 home-based IDPs who are all intern students from Marawi City with no family members with them. And lastly, Bukidnon has recently reported 44 displaced families in the municipality of Kalilangan.

The Field Office 10 has already provided a total cost of assistance amounting to Php 14,236,973.00 of which Php 3,065,459.00 worth of Non-food items and family food packs worth Php 11,171,514.00. While Local Government Units of Iligan City and Lanao del Norte has extended a total assistance worth Php 1,852,442.90. Some Non-government agencies have also extended Php 15,000.00.

The office has also assisted five rescued laborers from Marawi City who are residents of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. The said laborers were initially rescued by a certain Disomimba Family and endorsed to DSWD for further assistance.

The office offered transportation assistance and family food packs for them to bring home.

The DSWD Field Office 10 Disaster Operation Center in Iligan City continuously monitors the situation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) coming from Marawi City.

The status of IDPs has increased to 18,541 families or 86,636 persons of which 1,730 families or 7,999 persons are inside evacuation centers while 16,811 families or 78,637 persons are home-based IDPs.

In Lanao del Norte, the municipality of Baloi hosts 692 families in eight evacuations centers (EC) while Pantar has 104 families inside ECs and Pantao Ragat with 115 families in three ECs.

Due to increasing number of IDPs the city of Cagayan de Oro has opened an evacuation center in Brgy Indahag. While the city of Iligan continues to host 798 families in five evacuation centers.

The Home-based IDPs have increased to 16,811 families of which Iligan City has 6,681 families, Baloi with 3,506 families, Bacolod with 194 families, SND with 485 families, Tangcal with 105 families, Matungao with 525 families, Pantar with 1,268 families, Magsaysay with 56 families, Maigo with 94 families, Tubod with 102 families, Sapad with 131 families, Kolambugan with 168 families, Kapatagan with 36 families, Linamon with 125 families, Tagoloan with 253 families, Lala with 25 families, Salvador with 38 families, Poona Piagapo with 290 families, Munai with 229 families, Pantao Ragat 854 families, Baroy with 3 families, and Kauswagan with 231 families.

The validated home-based IDPs in Cagayan de Oro have increased to 893 families while 8 families have been reported housed in the municipality of Kinoguitan, 23 families in Alubijid, 485 families in Opol and Laguindingan has 35 validated home-based IDPs.

Meanwhile, Manticao, Misamis Oriental has 6 home-based IDPs who are all intern students from Marawi City.

The Field Office 10 has already provided a total cost of assistance amounting to Php 13,769,846.00 of which Php 3,004,459.00 worth of Non-food items and family food packs worth Php 10,765,387.00. While Local Government Units of Iligan City and Lanao del Norte has extended a total assistance worth Php 1,852,442.90. Some Non-government agencies have also extended Php 15,000.00.

The DSWD Field Office 10 Disaster Operation Center in Iligan City continuously monitors the situation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) coming from Marawi City.

The status of IDPs have increased to 13, 832 families or 66,383 persons of which 1,460 families or 6,867 persons are inside evacuation centers while 12,372 families or 59,516 persons are home-based IDPs.

The city of Iligan housed a total of 789 families in four evacuation centers (EC) while Baloi has 431 families in four ECs, Pantar with a total of 104 families in on EC and Pantao Ragat with 115 families in three ECs.

Additional evacuation centers were opened today due to the opening of classes. In Baloi, Lanao del Norte, it has opened Nangka Barangay Hall and Madrasah Sapacan to accommodate IDPs previously housed at Nangka Elementary School which is now closed.

In Pantar, two evacuation centers were closed and IDPs moved to their respective relatives hence there is an increase on the number of home-based IDPs in the area.

The Home-based IDPs have increased to 12,372 families of which Iligan City has 4, 261 families, Baloi with 2,223 families, Bacolod with 162 families, SND with 86 families, Tangcal with 105 families, Matungao with 525 families, Pantar with 1,071 families, Magsaysay with 49 families, Maigo with 94 families, Tubod with 105 families, Sapad with 115 families, Kolambugan with 168 families, Kapatagan with 36 families, Linamon with 125 families, Tagoloan with 253 families, Lala with 25 families, Salvador with 38 families, Poona Piagapo with 290 families, Munai with 144 families, Pantao Ragat 854 families, Baroy with 3 families, and Kauswagan has 231 families.

The validated home-based IDPs in Cagayan de Oro have increased to 893 families while 8 families have been reported housed in the municipality of Kinoguitan with 8 families, 23 families in Alubijid and 485 families in Opol, Misamis Oriental.

The Field Office 10 has already provided a total cost of assistance amounting to Php 12,053,705.00, of which Php 2,453,404.00 worth of Non-food items and family food packs worth Php 9,600,301.00.
