The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office X extends its heartfelt gratitude to the DSWD Field Offices IX, XI, XII, DSWD Visayas Disaster Response Center (VDRC), and DSWD National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau (NRLMB) for their quick response on the resource augmentation of Family Food Packs (FFPs) to DSWD 10 with the declaration of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Gingoog City and Cagayan de Oro City.

With the augmentation of the other field offices and national counterparts, a total of 96,107 family food packs were successfully distributed to the 2 LGUs for its distribution in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A box of family food pack can sustain a family of five to six members for two to three days. Each FFP contains four tins of canned tuna flakes, two tins of canned sardines, four tins of canned corned beef, five sachets of 3-in-1 instant coffee, five sachets of powdered cereal drink, and six kilos of NFA rice.
With the full support of the other DSWD field offices and national counterparts, the DSWD FO X is continuously coordinating with the LGUs in ensuring that prompt response and assistance will reach and be provided to those affected families during this time of pandemic.
