The total number of IDPs served in the region is 55,588 families or 226,462 persons. There are currently 35 evacuation centers in Region 10 housing 2,808 families or 13,209 persons. The number of home-based families total to 52,780 or 213,253 persons.

The number of active Evacuation Centers (ECs) in Region 10 is as follows: Iligan City – 5; Balo-i – 11; Pantar – 1; Pantao Ragat – 17; Cagayan de Oro City – 1.

For the whole province of Lanao del Norte including Iligan City, the total number of IDP families served increases to 47,288 or 200,843 persons. The number of families inside evacuation centers served, including Iligan City, is 2,803 or 13,190 persons. Home-based Families served in Lanao del Norte, including Iligan City, is 44,485 or 187,653.

For Iligan City alone, the number of IDP families served is 27,596 or 110,216 persons. There are 815 families sheltered in evacuation centers served or 3,849 persons, while the number of home-based IDP families served is 26,781 or 106,367 persons.

Five Evacuation Centers are still operational in Iligan City namely: Buru-un School of Fisheries, Buru-un Gym, Tibanga Gym, Bayanihan Gym, and Ma. Cristina Gym.

In Misamis Oriental, the number of IDP families served is 7,546 or 22,175 persons; five (5) families or 19 persons staying in the lone evacuation Center situated in Barangay Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. The number of home-based IDP families served is 7,541 or 22,156 persons.

In Bukidnon, the number of IDP families served is 634 families or 2,879 persons who are all home-based or staying with their relatives in the municipalities of Kalilangan, Lantapan, Pangantucan, San Fernando, Baungon, Maramag and the cities of Malaybalay and Valencia.

In Misamis Occidental, the number of IDP families served remain at 115 families or 527 persons who are all home-based temporarily residing in barangays of Ozamiz City and Oroquieta City.

Total cost of assistance extended to IDPs amounts to P125,975,333.00 of which P119,213,281.00 is extended by DSWD. Breakdown of Cost assistance is P89,304,885.00 for Family Food Packs and P29,276,016.00 for non-food assistance.

Local government units provided P2,180,668.00 for IDPs and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) also provided a total of P4,581,384.00 as recorded.

74 IDP families in newly-opened Al-Beroni Madrasah (who are from the closed Madrasah Mokhlis) in West Poblacion, Balo-i needs supply of potable water. They are getting their supply at a spring whose source is reportedly from the nearby Agus River, near the madrasah. They used it for drinking, bathing, and laundry. DSWD Field Office 10 has coordinated with DOH 10 for supply of potable water and for checking the source of water. DSWD Field Office 10 also coordinated with DOH 10 for portalets. DOH 10 workers are set to visit the madrasah today.

DSWD delivers one family food pack each to 24,889 out of 26,665 home-based IDPs in Iligan City to address the Home-based IDP families in need of immediate supply of family food packs.

DSWD-10 reiterates the importance of private individuals or companies to coordinate and collaborate with DSWD personnel managing the evacuation centers when they have, or wish to have activities, or any matter related to IDPs as one of the main concerns of the field office is the security of the IDPs housed in the evacuation centers.

Camp managers regularly update other players in the response cluster who are stationed at the evacuation centers, including barangay officials and city/municipal workers.

Camp managers helped Local Government Unit officials of Buadipuso-Buntong and Lumbatan towns, all in Lanao del Sur province in looking for their former and current residents who are home-based IDPs or living inside evacuation centers. Both LGUs are inviting their former residents and current residents who were displaced by the Marawi siege. The LGU of Taraka was the first local government unit to invite IDPs who are former and current residents of the locality.

Camp managers of Tibanga Evacuation Center called for a meeting to strengthen security measures after a tab was lost inside the camp. The owner reportedly fell asleep when it was allegedly stolen.

Camp managers of Tibanga Evacuation Center coordinates with the Bureau of Fire Protection for sustainable supply of water for laundry and bathing.

DSWD Supply Officer calls anew the MSWDOs of Kolambugan, Kauswagan, Maigo, Tangcal, Pantao Ragat, Tubod, and Matungao that the goods for home-based IDPs are available and waiting for pick-up.
