Rogelio C. Cajeta, a father of 2 children and who lost his wife a couple of years back, is a resident of Barangay Bagumbang, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental. He says that volunteering for the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services – National Community Driven Development (Kalahi CIDSS-NCDDP) helped him adjust from the state of grief since he was always given tasks to be part of the Barangay Sub-Project Management Committee – Monitoring and Inspection that oversees the implementation of the project all throughout. “Sana mag-patuloy ang KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP na programa ng DSWD, dahil dito kami ay nabigyan ng tama at kumpleto na pasilidad na Health Center, dahil mahigit 40 taon na kami nag hihintay ng bago at tamang pasilidad, Salamat DSWD Kalahi CIDSS, i-pag patuloy nyo po ang inyong nasimulan (I wish that the KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP program of DSWD will continue, it is through it that we were given a health center – it’s been 40 years since we longed for a new and quality facility, thank you DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS, do continue what you have started)’’ enthused Rogelio. Furthermore, he says he is happy that he is a part of the BSPMC Committee since the program seeks to uplift the barangay and community from the state of poverty.
