The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) beneficiaries from Poona Piagapo, Lanao del Norte joins SM City Cagayan de Oro and DTI’s KAHIMUNAN Regional Trade Fair. The said trade fair will run from August 19-29, 2016 at the SM mall. Featured product from the Municipality of Poona Piagapo is the Bunil.  Bunil Weaving is an age-old tradition. An expression of Maranao Art. It is in the play of colors that they exude and express one’s culture. The play of bright colors meshed together that links their persona with the identity of the group. The Bunil is available in forms of Blankets, Table Runners, Bedsheets and Pillow cases, Place Mats. Also available from Poona’s Best are the Turmeric (more commonly known as “Dulaw” ) Powder, and Virgin Coconut Oil.
