Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rolando Joselito D. Bautista gets a briefing from  disaster teams of DSWD Field Offices CALABARZON (left) and MIMAROPA (right) on the disaster preparedness being undertaken by the Field Offices for Typhoon ‘Rolly’ and the approaching Tropical Storm ‘Siony’ during a field visit on November 1.  

The DSWD Chief ensured that the two DSWD Regional Offices have sufficient stockpiles and standby funds for augmentation to requesting local government units (LGUs) heavily hit by Typhoon Rolly. ###
