Missing a meal on the table is one of the worst fear a head of the family would never want to experience. With the occurrence of COVID-19, things came to worst. With the limitation of movements, business operations in most establishments were affected. The most hit are the labor sector and the vendors.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 10 extends the needs of these families through the recently approved Republic Act or the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2).
Cagayan de Oro is not excused with these sad experiences. Showing support to Kagay-anons, DSWD-FO 10 in coordination with the local government unit of the city, release of subsidy is initiated. On its second (2nd) day today, a total of 121 qualified beneficiaries received P6,000 per family.
