The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 10 (DSWD-10) announces the arrival of its Mobile Kitchen Unit, aimed at enhancing food provision during disaster response operations.
The Mobile Kitchen is designed to serve hot, ready-to-eat meals to affected communities, particularly in evacuation centers and areas with limited cooking facilities. It will be deployed during emergencies and operated by trained LGU personnel, in coordination with DSWD response teams.
Capable of preparing meals daily, the unit ensures fast, coordinated food distribution where it’s needed most. This initiative reflects DSWD-10’s commitment to efficient, compassionate, and community-driven disaster response.
