The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 10 (DSWD-10) signed agreement allowing DSWD CALABARZON to use its new innovative information communication technology (ICT) system called Human Resource Portal for Employees and All Related Services (HR-PEARS). The agreement was signed on October 9, 2024, at Excelsior Hotel, Las Piñas City.

DSWD-10’s advanced ICT system serves as a centralized platform for employees to access essential information, including personal records, payroll details, benefits, and training opportunities. This system digitizes HR processes such as leave applications and performance evaluations, significantly reducing paperwork and streamlining operations. The initiative aims to enhance processing times and boost the productivity of the DSWD workforce.

The signing ceremony was led by DSWD Chief Information Officer Assistant Secretary Julius Gorospe, DSWD-10 Regional Director Ramel Jamen, and DSWD CALABARZON Regional Director Barry Chua. In his address, Asec. Gorospe highlighted the importance of collaboration and shared responsibility among Field Offices.

By allowing CALABARZON Field Office to tap into the tried and tested systems of Field Office X, we not only remove the burden of starting from scratch but also achieve tremendous cost savings and operational efficiencies,” he said.

Meanwhile Regional Director Ramel Jamen emphasized DSWD’s unified approach to service enhancement. “This partnership is a testament to our commitment of improving services and supporting each other as one DSWD family.” The development of this information system aligns with DSWD’s top management priorities, furthering its goals of modernization and digitization.
