In the midst of this present crisis, it cannot be denied that heroes have also came out in and among Filipinos.

Despite the health risks, conjectures, and threats received, government workers have sacrificed themselves to serve the poor Filipino families who are suffering from the impact of COVID-19.

Saturdays and Sundays which are supposedly spent for personal rest and with families and loved ones, are now spent for serving other families who are under crisis.

In Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental, DSWD-10 workforce, local workers from the local government units and law enforcement worked hard even on weekends just to deliver the cash subsidies to 188 families yesterday, November 18,2020 in compliance to Republic Act 11494 or the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act.

These frontliners are truly recognized for their unselfish acts of kindness and sacrifices.
