CSC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Training : Four (4) hours relevant training along information and communications management
Experience : At least (1) year of relevant experience
Eligibility : Career Service Professional)/ 2 nd Level Eligibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Development Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, or other relevant social science courses
Training : At least four (4) hours relevant training preferably on social marketing, development communication strategies and production of IEC materials; and other relevant training along Disaster Response Management Division policies, guidelines and program implementation.
Experience : At least one (1) year of relevant experience to social marketing, communications, production of IEC Materials, preparation of reports and communications, and other relevant experiences in the implementation of DRMD programs, projects and activities.
Eligibility : Career Service Professional/ 2 nd Level Eligibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare DRRM information products based on captured DRMM related data through audio-visual means;
- Preparation and developing DRMM–related report contents on new media such as twitter;
- Monitor the posts/responses of the public posted notices/information at the DRMD/DROMIC websites and social media;
- Process the information from the public and refer it to the immediate supervisor;
- Draft responses to all queries received for the pertinent action of the immediate supervisor;
- Conduct DRMM-related fieldwork to gather information needed for developing information products
- Acts as Ensure updates on the DRMD Bulletin/website
- Provide technical assistance to LGU counterparts
- Engage in 24/7 DROMIC reporting duty for monitoring all disaster incidents, especially reports coming from LGUs and prepare required DRRM-related reports in a prompt manner.
- Undertake additional duties and other DRMD-DROMIC related works that maybe assigned from time to time by higher authorities.
Cut-off Scores:
- The longlisted applicants shall obtain 60% of the maximum total score of the Technical/Special Examination
Job Outputs:
- DRRM information products such as IECs, brochures, video-documentaries, flyers, and the like;
- Updated and well-maintained DROMIC bulletin/website contents;
- Memorandum and related communications;
- Feedback reports on field missions/field monitoring visits/technical assistance; meetings workshops, trainings, etc.; DRRM-related DROMIC reports, PowerPoint presentations;
- Comments and inputs to correspondences, policies and guidelines as required by the Regional Director, Division Chief and Immediate Supervisor; and
- Other reports as may be required.
