CSC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education        :         Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work

Training           :         Four (4) Hours of Relevant Training

Experience      :         One (1) Year of Relevant Experience
Eligibility      :         RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education        :         Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work

Training           :         8-10 hours of Relevant Trainings on Case Management

Experience      :        2 years Relevant Experience
Eligibility      :         RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure beneficiaries of AICS/AKAP and other programs of the department are
    provided with psychological and monetary assistance
  2. Review the PSP MOA of LGUs and SPs.
  3. Act as Disbursing Officer of the section.
  4. Review program and administrative plans and updates of the section.
  5. Conducts interviews, home visits, jail visits, case counseling, case management
    conferences;
  6. Accomplishes social case study reports of clients;
  7. Attends hearings and testifies in court;
  8. Prepares/submits project proposals, case studies and other reports;
  9. Refers neglected, abandoned, abused and exploited children to institutions and
    for foster care.
  10. Acts as Officer in charge whenever the Head of the section/center is on official
    travel/business or on leave of absence
  11. Assist in conducting Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA)
    activities
  12. Performs other related tasks.

ONLY WITH WORK EXPERIENCE:

Copy of performance rating in the present position for the last rating period or its
equivalent to external applicants and must have a Very Satisfactory rating.

Cut-off Scores:

  1. Initial Shortlisting: Obtain 75% or 45 points of the maximum total score of the ETE
  2. Top five highest rating but overall rating should not be less than 80%
