Area Coordinators of the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS)-10 revisit their roles in capturing success stories of the Program in a three-day seminar-workshop, March 6-8.
The gathering touched on the procedures of Accountability Reporting and Reflection Session that KALAHI-CIDSS uses in its Community-Driven Development (CDD) strategy to improve communities’ access to basic services.
The said processes are vital in extracting the lessons learned and ways forward in the continued use of the CDD approach towards making it as a standard practice in local development planning.
Participants were also oriented on success story writing, mobile photography, and the discussion of the CDD Institutionalization Bill as part of the social marketing efforts of the Program to train its internal staff.
The Program leverages on its field staff to uphold the standards of CDD where KALAHI-CIDSS is implemented in target municipalities in partnership with local government units.
