The young clients at the Home for Girls under DSWD FO X were delighted to receive a thoughtful array of gifts, including medicines, school supplies, and hygiene kits, generously provided by the Gender Advocates in NorMin, Inc. (GANI) as part of their commemoration of National Womenβs Month.
GANIβs decision to support the center stems from their status as survivors of gender-based violence.
Major Daisy P. Baguio of the 4th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army and President of GANI, alongside members from multiple government agencies including BJMP 10, CHR 10, NTC 10, and DENR 10, graced the turnover ceremony with their presence, delivering not just gifts but also words of encouragement, inspiring the clients to pursue their dreams with determination.
GANI, an inter-agency association of dedicated individuals in government service in Northern Mindanao, is committed to advancing gender and development initiatives, exemplifying their dedication to empowering women and girls in the region.
