Through Convergence, the department is ensuring that poor families and individuals are provided 2 or more anti-poverty programs and/or social protection services that would improve their status in life.
SLP and the other anti-poverty programs of the department will try to improve the lives of poor families, alleviating their living status from Survival, to Subsistence, and finally, to Self-sufficiency.
The SLP will continue to serve poor and marginalized families and groups in Northern Mindanao with Livelihood Trainings and Capacity-Building Activities that will ensure sustainable income-generating employment or business.
