The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 10 sees the continuing effect of the COVID-19 pandemic especially those from the low-income and poor families in the region.

DSWD-FO 10 continues to serve these families with better services which aims to provide assistance to their basic needs under the Emergency Subsidy Program (ESP), being implemented under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act or Bayanihan 2.

A total of 893 qualified family beneficiaries in Cagayan de Oro City will receive P6,000 each. The payout started today with expected 450 families to be served while the remaining 443 families will be served the next day.

The DSWD-FO 10 never stops reaching out to the poor. Health is at risk but its staff never turn back their commitment to serve.
