The SLP Graduates

909 beneficiaries of Sustainable Livelihood Program from 19 municipalities of Misamis Oriental graduated from a technical vocational skills training course, supported by the Department of Social Welfare and Development in collaboration with Immanuel Global College de Philippines, Inc. based in Cagayan de Oro City.

The graduates receive NCII Certificate. Witnessed by DSWD FO X ARDO Dela Cruz and School heads of Immanuel Global College de Philippines.

The graduates completed National Certificate II (NC II) on Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). This particular course is offered by the Immanuel Global College de Philippines through their Mobile Training Program as accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

The school being a non-profit, non-stock technical vocational institution is very sympathetic to the departments’ mission and supports social welfare interventions for the benefit of the beneficiaries.

The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) is a community-based capacity building program of the department that aims to improve the socio-economic condition of the program beneficiaries by facilitating opportunities for development and management of resources viable for micro-enterprises and employment facilitation.

Today, there are over 26,000 beneficiaries under SLP in Northern Mindanao.
