To recognize the efforts of different stakeholders to alleviate the impact of the Corononavirus Disease (COVID-19), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will launch a campaign highlighting the Filipino Bayanihan spirit on June 11.

Dubbed as “KaSama Ako sa Pagbangon ng Pamilyang Pilipino,” the campaign underscores the collaboration among DSWD, its partners, and stakeholders in the delivery of social services, and the significance of public participation to address the challenges brought by the current health crisis.

Employing the whole-of-nation approach, KaSama Ako sa Pagbangon ng Pamilyang Pilipino will feature stories of hope from beneficiaries, local and national agencies, and private institutions contributing to the implementation of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP). Specifically, it will utilize multimedia platforms to promote three main concepts: good governance, participation, and culture.

By featuring the different innovations and initiatives of stakeholders in the campaign, the Department hopes to promote transparency, accountability, dedicated public service, and community participation amidst the pandemic. ###
