The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office X will be launching the #StopChildPornPh Public Service Announcement Video-Making Contest on September 8, 2017 which highlights its campaign against child pornography.

The #StopChildPornPh is an intervention of the national government and its partnering local government units to end sexual violence and abuse against children through pornography. It helps educate the public, especially the parents and their children from becoming victims to pornography in the internet, through videos, photos, and other forms of visual or auditory materials.

The contest is open to all college and university students in Region X. Each entry is a production of 1-minute public service announcement (PSA) video which educates the public, particularly the parents and children, on how to stop or prevent incidences of child pornography or the impact of child pornography. An entry may be produced by a team or a by an individual.

The prizes at stake are: 1st Prize – P10,000; 2nd Prize – P7,000; and 3rd Prize – P5,000.00.

  1. Attend the launching of the #stopchildpornph PSA Video-making Contest on September 8, 2017, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at DSWD Field Office X for the orientation of #stopchildpornph and specific mechanics of the contest.

The criteria for judging are: 40% Relevance to the Theme / Content / Message; 30% Technical (Cinematography, Quality, Details); 30% Call to Action Messaging and Use of DSWD Branding.
