Officials of Barangay Jampason, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental, led by Barangay Captain Ermelinda N. Agbong (center) along with their Barangay Sub-Project Management Committee chairman Virgilio C. Lijesta (3rd from left) and the barangay council, gathered in Purok 6 for the ground breaking ceremony, July 13, 2016. The community residents proposed a sub-project to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive Integrated Delivery of Social Services-National Community Driven Development Program (KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP) which is the Concreting of .310 km farm-to-market road along Purok 6. Agbong, in her speech, said that the capsule symbolizes that the construction of the farm to market road will make the delivery of their farm products to the market faster. Furthermore, the farm-to-market road gives the children an easier access going to school especially during the rainy season. Jasaan is among the new areas of the KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP implementation.
