CSC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education        :         Bachelor’s Degree Relevant to the job
Experience      :         None Required
Training           :         None Required
Eligibility      :         Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education        :         Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Experience      :         At least one (1) year in government finance
Training           :         GAM /NGAs/ COA Circulars

Eligibility      :         Certified Public Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares financial reports.
  2. Pre-audits financial transactions.
  3. Subsidiary Ledger and General Ledger Reconciliation.
  4. Journalize Property Plant and Equipment & Inventory Transactions.
  5. Signatory for Box C of Disbursement Vouchers.
  6. Alternate/ Officer-in-Charge in the absence of the Regional Accountant &
    Administrative Officer IV of the Accounting Section.
  7. Acts as Property and Inventory Unit Head.

ONLY WITH WORK EXPERIENCE:
Copy of performance rating in the present position for the last rating period or its
equivalent to external applicants and must have a Very Satisfactory rating.

Cut-off Scores:

  1. Initial Shortlisting: Obtain 75% or 45 points of the maximum total score of the ETE
  2. Top five highest rating but overall rating should not be less than 80%
