CSC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education : BS Legal Management, AB Paralegal Studies, Law, Political Science or other allied courses
Experience : None Required
Training : Four (4) hours of training relevant to legal work, such as legal ethics, legal research and writing, or legal procedure
Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education : BS Legal Management, AB Paralegal Studies, Law, Political Science or other allied courses
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
Training : Four (4) hours of training relevant to legal work, such as legal ethics, legal research and writing, or legal procedure
Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing legal research and preparing case summaries and materials
- Communicating with clients, witnesses and other parties.
- Drafting and organizing legal documents, memoranda, correspondences, affidavits and other legal instruments with high confidentiality.
- Providing administrative support to lawyers and enhancing office effectiveness
- Handling legal administrative matters and proceedings
- Maintain and update legal case matrix and legal opinions records.

Cut-off Scores:
- Initial Shortlisting: Obtain 75% or 45 points of the maximum total score of the ETE
- Top five highest rating but overall rating should not be less than 80%
