The Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) of the DSWD Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS) ends their 2-day meeting and action planning today which underscored the reporting of the RPMO’s accomplishments and deliverables in regard to the status of sub-project implementation across different modalities of Kalahi-CIDSS.

Regional Program Coordinator, Delia A. Maravillosa D.M., and Division Chief for Promotive Services, Glofelia J. Uayan were present to give their valuable inputs and reminders, looking out the RPMO’s progress in terms of hitting its targets and goals. OIC Assistant Regional Director for Operations Rosemarie P. Conde expressed her appreciation and confidence to the RPMO to deliver maximum results in the next few months of implementation.

For Cycle 4 2018-2019, 273 small-scale infrastructures or sub-projects were established in the different municipalities of Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Misamis Oriental, providing access to basic social services and promoting community empowerment through the Community-driven development (CDD) approach of Kalahi-CIDSS. The RPMO is currently responding to the pandemic’s impact by implementing COVID-19 response projects under the Disaster Response Operations Procedure (DROP), targeting 213 sub-projects in 176 barangays in Bukidnon and Lanao del Norte provinces to complete this October.

Area Coordinating Teams are currently at the level of post MIAC technical review for their Request for Fund Release (RFR) and are conducting Pre-implementation trainings as part of the Social preparation stage of the Community Empowerment Activity Cycle (CEAC) procedure of Kalahi-CIDSS.

Meanwhile, 26 sub-projects for various IP communities across the region are rolled out, having finished a 5-day training for newly hired and transferred field staff for Kalahi IP-CDD PAMANA held recently on Aug. 17-21 at Valencia, Bukidnon.

To ensure all sub-projects are delivered efficiently and timely, the RPMO is constantly evaluating its management to identify the gaps and concerns within its operations and provide adequate interventions to avoid setbacks.

The RPMO has streamlined an action plan for the remainder of the year to meet the demands of the job and organizational objectives.
