Community volunteers of Sapang Dalaga in Misamis Occidental joined in on the ground breaking ceremonies for the proposed sub-projects in their municipality. Misamis Occidental is home to the Subanen Tribe, a Babaylan and Archbishop Alex Suaner led the joint ceremonies during the ground breaking ceremonies in the area. The proposed sub-projects are the Concreting of .300km Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay Capundag with a total project cost of Php 1,894,444.35; Installation of 15 Units Solar Street Lights amounting to Php 853,516.00 in Barangay Dioyo; and the Construction of a 1 Unit Day Care Center with a total project cost of Php 886,586.00. The project is funded through the Department of Social Welfare and Development poverty alleviation program Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive Integrated Delivery of Social Services: National Community Driven Development Program (KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP).
