The Municipality of Tudela, Misamis Occidental recently conducted the groundbreaking ceremonies of prioritized barangay sub-projects, among those present are the local chief executives of the municipality, the Municipal Social Welfare & Development Officer, Provincial Link, barangay officials, community volunteers and the Area and Municipal Coordinating Teams of Tudela. Different stakeholders expressed their appreciation to the volunteers who have undergone the Community Empowerment Activity Cycle (CEAC) through the Department of Social Welfare and Development Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services – National Community Driven Development (Kalahi CIDSS-NCDDP) in its first cycle of implementation. The prioritized barangay sub-projects are: (1) Construction of 70 Linear Meter Flood Control along Purok 1, Barangay Barra; (2) Concreting of 250 Linear Meter Barangay Road along Purok 3, Barangay Colambutan settlement; (3) Concreting of 250 Linear Meter Barangay Road along Purok 3, Barangay Pan-ay Diot; (4) Concreting of 500 Linear Meter Single Lane Barangay Road  along Puroks 1 & 2 in Barangay Mitugas; (5)Concreting of 250 Linear Meter Barangay Road along Purok 4, Barangay Yahong; and (6) Concreting of 500 Linear Meter Barangay Road along Puroks 6 & 7 in Barangay Namut. The total project cost is Php 12,508,401.00.
