As we commemorate the 74th Anniversary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) with the theme “Bawat Pamilya Mahalaga sa Bagong Pilipinas”, we are reminded of our commitment to ensuring that every family is valued and supported in building a better Philippines.

The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) would like to acknowledge and commend the Field Officers of the program for their tireless effort in driving promising livelihoods fit to the needs of communities. The effective implementation of the program would not be achievable without our Project Development Officers (PDO) at the provincial level.

For Ms. Arvi Gizelle, who serves the program for ten years as a monitoring PDO, the most rewarding aspect of her role is witnessing the long-term sustainability of the participants’ livelihood projects.

This milestone is not only a celebration of our achievements over the years but also a reaffirmation of our dedication to uplifting the lives of Filipinos. Together, we strive to create an inclusive society where every family has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the nation’s progress.
