The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), has made significant interventions since 2023 in uplifting the Luyungan High School community. It aims to empower local residents by organizing them into community associations designed to facilitate sustainable livelihoods.

As part of this initiative, a total of 4 associations were established, benefiting 90 members with a total grant of Php 1,350,000.00 at Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on March 28, 2025. These initiatives have been specifically tailored to meet the distinct needs of the community, providing essential resources and technical support necessary for launching and sustaining various livelihood projects.
