Cagayan de Oro City — A chief administrative officer of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 10 has commended its workers for being a national awardee.
Manuel M. Borres, Chief Administrative Officer of the General Administrative Support Services Division of DSWD Field Office 10 said he is thankful of the overwhelming cooperation and support of his fellow workers to the two employees of his division who made to the top post in the recent national awarding of DSWD in time for the 63rd Founding Anniversary of the agency.
“The secret of GASSD in achieving our goals to greater heights is our cooperation and excellent communication in which harmony always prevail in our division,” said Borres.
The Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) chosen Olipio G. Albao, a security guard of DSWD Field Office 10, as Best Support Staff (Sub-Professional Level) while DSWD Field Office 10 Records Officer Evelyn E. Cortes became a national finalist for Best Support Staff (Professional Level). Both are working under GASSD.
Albao will also enjoy an all expenses trip to Japan anytime this year, courtesy of DSWD. He will be accompanied by Undersecretary Mateo G. Montano, GASSG head of DSWD Central Office.
